Whether you are a spectator or an exhibitor, nothing is more uplifting than the sight of thousands of roses to smell, to admire, to photograph, and to appreciate the artistry of their display.

The judged World Rose Show will be a major feature of the 3-day public World Rose Festival being held in conjunction with the World Rose Convention 2009 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, from Friday, June 19th at 14:00 to Sunday, June 21 until 17:00.

The Vancouver Rose Society (VRS) will hold its annual Rose Show and will be hosting the American Rose Society (ARS) 2009 Spring Convention Challenge Classes as well as the Pacific Northwest District (PNWD) Challenge Classes and the Canadian Rose Society (CRS) Trophy Classes. In summary, the Rose Show will consist of the:

ARS National Challenge classes for horticulture
ARS National Challenge Trophy classes for arrangements
CRS Trophy classes
PNWD Challenge classes
VRS Horticultural classes
VRS Floral Art classes
VRS Photography Classes
WFRS International Classes.
